Preschool – 2 – 5 Year Olds
♦ What is MetroKids?
In MetroKids, it is our goal to not only love and provide for our children, but to also build a foundation of faith on which they can build as they grow. Every Sunday and Wednesday Evening they enjoy a fun and interactive Bible lesson where they learn about God and His creation.
♦ Who is MetroKids Preschool for?
2, 3 4 & 5 year olds
♦ What can I expect?
When bringing your child to MetroKids, your first stop should be at one of our check-in stations where a friendly volunteer will check your child in for the service you are attending. At check-in you will be provided with a set of stickers, which have a family identification number for you and for your child; please hold on to your portion of the sticker until checkout at the end of the service. Your child will wear the sticker with his or her name.
Our teachers build loving relationships with each child through play, story time, singing songs and other fun activities!
When you come to pick up your child after service, you will need your portion of the sticker that was given to you at check-in. No child is released unless the matching identification sticker is presented.
♦ What should I do if it is my first time at MetroKids?
We’re so glad you’re considering joining us! When you arrive at Metro, greeters will be available to help direct you to the children’s check-in area. We will meet your family and check your child into our database system. Once your family is checked in, one of our volunteers will be happy to give you a quick tour of where to go and how everything works.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members’ names, children’s names and birth dates, family address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
You and your child will be given matching identification stickers that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification stickers, which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. During checkout you will need to show your sticker in order for your child to be released back to you.
On your way home, be sure to ask your child about what they learned and whether they enjoyed themselves during the service!
If for some reason your child happens to need you during a service, your identification code will appear on the main screens in the auditorium. We ask that you exit the auditorium immediately and look for a staff member who will direct you to your child’s room.
